IV Therapy

Intravenous (IV) is the injection of a medication into a vein that connects directly to the bloodstream. It is one of the most effective, controlled, and fastest ways to get a drug into the body. We have certified nurses and other healthcare professionals who provide you with IV therapy in the comfort of your home. Our medical team of certified nurses and other staff members administers and provides multiple doses of medication or medicated infusions to patients prescribed IV drips. In this IV process, a single injection is followed by inserting a thin tube or catheter into a vein without giving you the pain of re-injecting needles to deliver each dose. Our healthcare administrator provides an IV injection in the following situations:

  • When a patient needs a potentially life-saving drug very quickly,
  • When a patient needs a very accurate dose of the medication,
  • When a patient needs a hefty dose of medication over an extended period,
  • When a person cannot eat or drink and requires fluids through an IV line,
  • When ingesting a medication by mouth is impractical or ineffective for the patient,
  • When a person requires multiple injections while having treatments for some chronic disease.
